University of Oulu Master’s Scholarships – University of Oulu provide 2.4 million Euro in financial aid to academically talented students in architecture sciences, business, economics, education, engineering and natural science. The scholarship is aimed to students studying for a master’s degree at the University of Oulu two years of international master’s programs. The fellowship is one academic year and covers the entire international student fees.
To receive this University of Oulu Master’s Scholarships in the second year of study, the student must have completed 45 ECTS by the end of his first academic year. If a student does not meet this requirement, they are required to pay full international fees if you decide to pursue a master’s degree.
University of Oulu Master’s Scholarships Requirements / Conditions
- Applicants are entitled to attend University of Oulu Master’s Scholarships when he/she:
Non-EU/EEA citizens who do not have a permanent residence permit in Finland.
(Applicant not entitled to the International Master Scholarship are:
- Non-EU/EEA citizen, a permanent residence permit in Finland,
- EU / EEA citizens or similar people,
- Students at the University of Oulu, who accepted study before the school year 2012-13).
- Eligible for a master’s degree at the University of Oulu for the 2012-13 academic year the applicant received his first degree (bachelor or equivalent) from a recognized institution of higher education.

Decisions for admission and University of Oulu Master’s Scholarships will be taken at the same time. Students successful in gaining scholarships will be notified an international master at the same time as your offer of admission to the International Master’s program is confirmed.

With the EU legislation is also comparable to Switzerland for the Member States.
The nature of residence permit is indicated in the residence permit with a letter. A permanent residence permit bears the letter P or A and an EC residence permit for third-country nationals with long-term EC resident status bears the letters P-EY.
EU citizen or equivalent person is a national of a Member State of the European Union (EU) or a citizen of Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland.
